14:30 Guided tour of the construction site
Experience railway construction under operation. You will learn more about the coordination of the various railway engineering works in the project planning and execution phase. Among other things, the new construction of the ballasted track, renovation of steel bridges and brickwork, as well as the interface with the Wipkingen railway station sub-project (passenger subway and platform construction) and the Wipkingen tunnel (repair and slab track).

We look forward to your registration! The registration window for the free event is open. All students on technical degree programmes in Switzerland can register. The number of participants is limited to 25 students. There will be a waiting list if the number of registrations exceeds the number of places available.
The guided tour is primarily aimed at students of civil engineering. However, the construction site is also worth a visit for students of architecture and traffic management. All students of technical degree programmes with an interest in railway construction / railway technology / maintenance / bridge construction are invited to register.
