Gain insight into the diverse tasks of BLS Infrastructure with the trainee program at BLS

Infrastructure is like the hardware of BLS. To ensure everything continues to run "like clockwork" in the future, we invest a lot. And of course: as a trainee, you won’t be laying tracks, planning new construction projects, or being intimately familiar with signal systems and overhead lines. At least not yet. But thanks to our trainee program, you will gain deep insights into these highly exciting tasks, gather valuable experience, and after 18 months, you will know exactly how the closely integrated rail network of BLS Infrastructure functions smoothly.

Your job:

• Technical collaboration in various project teams, with a focus on civil engineering

• Preparing analyses, innovative concepts, and reports for our project managers

• Exploring new technologies and trends in the field of infrastructure

• Expanding your technical knowledge and getting to know the areas of BLS Infrastructure you are interested in

• After 18 months, you will be ready for your next career step into an attractive position at BLS

What you bring:

• You have successfully completed your university studies (University of Applied Sciences or University) in a technical field by the start of the program at the latest, or they were completed no more than a year ago

• You are passionate about technology, infrastructure, and construction, and eager to learn new things

• With your hands-on mentality, you tackle tasks and act proactively

• As a team player, you value open and constructive exchanges

• You have a strong command of German and possess very good MS Office skills
