Railway Engineering in Action – discovering the rail industry professions
Would you like to become a railroad engineer? Put your future on the right track!
Mid-November saw the first Railway Engineering in Action day in Lausanne. The objective of this initiative is to give students a glimpse into the rail industry and showcase its different facets and professions.
The participants were taken on a tour of Renens station, a railway signalling management facility and the Galicien Viaduct. The day ended with a discussion involving the Lausanne public transport company Transports publics de la région lausannoise, Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) and WSP BG Consulting Engineers. We’d like to say a big thank you to our partners and speakers for being part of the day, which was an informative and stimulating experience for all!
The dates of the next open days will be published on the Railway Talent Hub early in 2024.
